Head of Learning Area - English
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate, enthusiastic, culturally responsive, student-focused teacher to join our growing team as the head of English. The appointee will have the ability to teach English up to and including NCEA Level 3 and will be an experienced or aspiring leader with the ability to shape programmes to reflect the needs of a diverse range of learners, especially at NCEA level.
We are a growing area school of 540 students in a stunning part of Aotearoa.

Autonomous Learning Programme Teacher
An exciting opportunity exists for a teacher to establish and direct our autonomous learning programme. A number of our students have shown themselves to have the ability to thrive in a self directed environment and the appointee will work with a group of students in Y7–9 to co-construct this exciting curriculum initiative.
Organisation, open mindedness, responsiveness and and a drive for innovation will be the key dispositions of the appointee.

Personal Assistant to the Principal
Due to a temporary internal restructuring, an appointment has arisen for a reliable, IT Literate and professionally presented person to join our Support Staff team as Personal Assistant to the Principal for the remainder of the 2020 school year.
The position involves 15 hours per week spread over 5 days. Some school holiday work may be necessary, but this will be negotiated with the appointee.
