Senior leader Y7–10 or Y11–13

Due to a restructuring of our senior leadership team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, passionate, and successful educator to join our leadership team. We are an area school of approximately 550 students situated in a stunning part of Aotearoa.

The successful candidate will have proven leadership success in either middle school or senior years education, and possess an in depth knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum, and the Qualifications Framework.

We have flexibility within our existing leadership team to accommodate an appropriate skill set in either middle or senior years education but an understanding of the pending changes to NCEA,  their impact on students across the secondary years, and their potential impact on teaching and learning programmes, is an essential element of this position. This position will involve responsibility for the day to day and strategic operation of either Y7-10 or Y11-13 depending on candidate strengths, and forms part of the executive leadership team. Further MU's may be available depending on experience. 

Position commences term 1 2022.

Senior leader - Y1–6

Due to retirement, a rare and exciting opportunity is available to lead the year 1–6 area of our Kura. We are an area school of approximately 550 students located in a stunning part of Aotearoa. The successful candidate will possess an in depth knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum, a strong understanding of, and commitment to Te Ao Māori, and be familiar with structured literacy pedagogies, which are a key element of our Kaupapa in the primary years. This position carries responsibility for the strategic and day-to-day operation of our Y1–6 area, and forms part of the executive leadership team within our kura. 

The position commences term 1, 2022.
